In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore accessibility, and why it matters, in depth.
- What is Accessibility? - Define accessibility and identify the types of assistive technologies used by various populations.
- Principles of Accessible Web Design - Examine key best practices, like text alternatives and color contrast.
- Incorporating Accessibility Throughout the Development Process - Discuss the cost benefits and improved site performance that comes with building to accessibility standards.
- Hands-on Exercises - Work through example exercises to build and fix accessibility issues.
